What you might be writing about

A problem with a clean

Raise it in the app if you can — a complaint opened there reaches both sides and can move money. If you cannot, email us with the booking reference, what happened, and any photos. We aim to resolve complaints within 5 business days.

Appealing a moderation decision

If we removed something you posted, or suspended your account, and you think we were wrong — email us. This is our complaints procedure under section 21 of the Online Safety Act 2023.

Tell us what was removed and roughly when, or that your account was suspended, and why you think the decision was wrong.

Deliberately by email, not in the app. A suspended account cannot sign in, so an in-app form would be unreachable by exactly the people entitled to use it. We review the decision and, if we agree with you, we put the content back or lift the suspension.

Reporting something harmful

Every message, review and profile can be reported from inside the app, and that is the fastest route because it carries the content with it. If you cannot reach the app, email us. We never tell a person who reported them.

Your data, or deleting your account

In the app, under Profile → Data & Privacy, you can download a copy of your data or delete your account. To ask us instead — for a copy, a correction, or an erasure — email us; we respond within one calendar month. See also Delete your account.

Becoming a cleaner

Register in the app. You will need proof of identity, a DBS check and Public Liability Insurance of at least £1,000,000 — all verified before your first job. Questions before you start are welcome at the address above.

If you are still not happy

Our decision ends our internal process; it does not affect your statutory rights or your right to take the matter to court. Complaints about how we handle personal data can go to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Complaints about how we handle harmful content can go to Ofcom.
